One of my most popular articles about SD-WAN is "The IF THEN ELSE of SDWAN - reality versus the lab" which is now one of my "Top 40 articles based on popularity".
However, one of the topics I have not fully addressed around Software
Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) is how its not only about the
technology itself but the underpinning processes as well as the related
human factor associated with the whole ecosystem. Making the assumption
that any existing issues related to branch network deployment will be
totally solved by selecting and installing devices from a SD-WAN vendor
is incorrect because a significant proportion of the problems are
related to human error or procedural failure.
