The Hub and Spoke!

All in the space of a day - Windows has started irritating me not only on my laptop (fritzy DVD and wireless drivers on Vista) but elsewhere! From not knowing when a flight is landing, to no currency rates and to no money from the ATM. Is the root cause of all of these a bad operating system?
