The attributes of networking that contribute to user experience

In South Africa there has been a lack of wireless spectrum allocation during the Zuma years of intransigence This is especially true due to decades long lack of make the digital divide spectrum available. This has hampered growth within South Africa and hamstrung operators in increasing capacity and aggregated network performance. But, in fixed wireless networking there is a perception that is created that licensed spectrum automatically provides a better experience than ISM. This is simplistic as the only benefit it can provide is lower the risk of potential interference but it does not eliminate it. Available licensed spectrum does not mean that all technical challenges are magically resolved. An example, is with rain which has licensed spectrum but has had to restrict sales due to problems on its network. There is no silver bullet to user experience as it is an aggregated metric which has multiple contributing factors that all contribute of which one would be spectrum.

Battery Room Explosion

A hydrogen explosion occurred in an Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS) battery room. The explosion blew a 400 ft2 hole in the roof, collapsed numerous walls and ceilings throughout the building, and significantly damaged a large portion of the 50,000 ft2 building. Fortunately, the computer/data center was vacant at the time and there were no injuries. Read more about the explosion over at hydrogen tools here .
