Ronald Bartels is a fine art, nature, model, and landscape photographer that grew up in the Boston area. Three of his great passions in life, are art, travel, and photography. He believes that travel broadens one's view of the world around us. He travels throughout the world and has the opportunity to capture a host of beautiful images from different parts of America and other countries. His love for wine and the fact that he is also an accomplished wine sommelier, has broaden his photography talents to include beautiful west coast wineries. Ron's photographic passion, creativity and attention to detail make his images very desirable for the collector, gallery, or the home decorator alike. He also has a passion for what the big cities have to offer, like incredible architecture and interesting people. Also important to Ron, is a cities unique energy, like New York City, San Francisco, Rome and Paris. Battery Room Explosion

A hydrogen explosion occurred in an Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS) battery room. The explosion blew a 400 ft2 hole in the roof, collapsed numerous walls and ceilings throughout the building, and significantly damaged a large portion of the 50,000 ft2 building.
