Powatag: the IoT bicycle lock for your assets

All cyclists know that the only way to prevent a thief from disappearing down the road with your valuable bike is to secure it with a chain and lock. It's not fool proof but it does serve a purpose. Now imagine if anyone starts tampering with the chain, you receive a notification via your phone. In that case, you can react faster to the theft as with a chain, it is only a deterrent but not a mechanism to detect.

Battery Room Explosion

A hydrogen explosion occurred in an Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS) battery room. The explosion blew a 400 ft2 hole in the roof, collapsed numerous walls and ceilings throughout the building, and significantly damaged a large portion of the 50,000 ft2 building.
