Electricity - the glue of the Fourth Industrial Revolution - the Awesome World of Things

Electricity is typically used to refer to electric power, although electricity occurs naturally. Electric power sparked the Second Industrial revolution mainly due to the work of Nikola Tesla, a naturalized American from Serbia. His ground breaking work in making alternating current motors allowed the use of long distance electric power distribution. Tesla died in obscurity with limited finical resources in a hotel in New York.

Battery Room Explosion

A hydrogen explosion occurred in an Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS) battery room. The explosion blew a 400 ft2 hole in the roof, collapsed numerous walls and ceilings throughout the building, and significantly damaged a large portion of the 50,000 ft2 building.
