Being a Network engineer can be a dangerous occupation

The building in Grayston was renovated and then also clad in marble. While the builders were cladding the building Wimpie Jansen van Rensburg and I installed switches and RAMs (Token-ring hub). While on one of the floors mounting a switch, I heard what I thought was the sound of water.

Battery Room Explosion

A hydrogen explosion occurred in an Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS) battery room. The explosion blew a 400 ft2 hole in the roof, collapsed numerous walls and ceilings throughout the building, and significantly damaged a large portion of the 50,000 ft2 building.
